Skipping TV During Dinner Helps Prevent Obesity

Adults who don’t watch TV during dinner and those who eat home-cooked meals are less likely to be obese, a new study has found.

The study discovered that people who never watch TV or videos during family meals had significantly lower odds of obesity compared with peers who always watch something during mealtimes.

Families whose meals areĀ  home-cooked also have lower odds of obesity than adults who eat no home-cooked meals.

It was also found that the frequency of family meals doesn’t make much of a difference.
